Midnight Cleanup

Baumgart's Restaurant is still glowing after a busy Saturday night.  This painting is reminiscent of the light of Edward Hopper's "Nighthawks" although Sicignano's use of green and yellow provides an optimistic and hopeful emotional response opposite to that of the melancholy invoked in Hopper's masterpiece.
